Description:
Andy (A140888) is a 1-year-old DSH who weighed 8 pounds on intake! 01/26/26 This handsome boy is Andy! Andy arrived at the shelter as a stray with a large group of cats and is now looking for his new place to call home. Andy is a little shy but has accepted handling with no issues. We still think that placing him in a quiet home to help him get settled would be the best for setting him up for success! While at the shelter, he has used his litterbox box consistently and has had a healthy appetite. We do not know his experience level with children or dogs. As previously mentioned, he has lived with other cats, but we donât know if they were friends. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions. While at the shelter, we have noticed that Andy likes to act like he does not like people. He will hiss upon approach, but he will come out of his shell and become very affectionate if you conitnue with a slow and considerate approach. He also LOVES catnip!
