Fox and her buddy Mimo are both beautiful tortoiseshell kitties who are very loving yet laid back. Sadly they were returned due to being stressed out by their overzealous dog. They were fine with the dog as a puppy, but as he got bigger and played rougher, they just stayed hidden all of the time. They are sweet girls. (Mimo was born with only a partial back leg but it does not slow her down at all and Fox has one slightly floppy ear.) These girls deserve a second chance but this time without a "dog brother". While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.
