Meet Bert! Bert is a 6-year-old grey tabby who was sadly dumped at the sanctuary, but he hasn’t let that dim his gentle spirit. At first, he was shy and unsure of humans, but with a little patience and kindness, he has blossomed into a total lovebug. Now he follows staff and volunteers around, politely asking for pets and affection. Bert loves to “chat” with his people and is an excellent listener. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and does well with dogs and kids, too. This sweet, mellow boy is ready to find a home where he can feel safe, loved, and appreciated. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, Bert is your guy! Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168.
