Description:
Pete is a 2 year old 70 lb neutered male lab retriever mix supposedly. He is Heartworm negative and microchipped. Found as a stray dog unfortunately in SC. But he is such a sweet dog and house trained, crate trained! He was transported to our rescue after being in a foster home for over a month! Info from the foster: Pete is both high energy and chill. Pros: listens, walks well on leash, house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, people friendly, likes kids, plays fetch, plays with toys well, treat motivated. Cons: he doesn't realize his strength (need to be careful with kids so he doesn't knock them down by accident). Foster never had cats in her home, so we still need to cat him soon.
