Description:
Location: Cleveland, NY Nix is a 5 year old blue heeler mix who is smart, inquisitive, and loves being with her people. She is house trained, microchipped, fully vetted, spayed, current on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. Nix is looking for someone who can provide structure, training, and patience as she transitions from free roaming to becoming the best companion that she can be. She loves playing fetch, being brushed, and just relaxing in the sun with her family. Nix requires a home that can provide her structure and confidence. She requires an adopter committed to giving her a secure fenced yard and or consistent leash use. She loves watching the chickens but if able, would chase them as well as wildlife. She has a great recall in her fenced yard. There are no cats around but would probably chase them if they were to run. Nix is shy when first meets new people but will quickly warm up to them.
