Description:
Nitelite came to the shelter as an owner surrender and it was a really tough one. Her young owner's life experienced a sudden, dramatic change and he made the decision to bring her to us. She was very loved. She is a mix of pit bull type dog, collie, and Australian shepherd. She has been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped and her fee is $150. Nitelite is a nice girl and is a compact 40 pounds. She has had some basic training and knows some commands. She will require some good exercise but is also content to cuddle with her people. We do think she would be okay with a male dog. She has not had any exposure to cats but is a sweet and somewhat submissive girl so we think she has the potential to do okay with them. Older kids would best. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
