Age: 8 years Size: 77 lbs Estimated breed: Pit bull mix Update from my foster 4/16: Flex is gentle and well behaved. He is fully crate trained, knows sit and shake, gentle mouthed, likes to nap near or on people. He is more food motivated than we had thought! Outside he is easy to redirect with changing direction and treats in your pocket. He has alerted to a cat and a bumblebee on leash but never chased. He is a really good, easy dog! Flex was adopted by his foster family all the way back in 2018. Now, he is losing the only family he's ever known due to absolutely no fault of his own. Flex's story is one we hear far too often in rescue. He was adored by his family until a human baby came around, when the family decided they no longer have time for Flex. We are heartbroken and devastated for Flex, who does not deserve this. He does not deserve to lose his family, his home, his life, but unfortunately that is exactly what is happening. Flex is around 6 years old and weighs 77 lbs. He would do best in a home with no cats and no other dogs. After everything he's been through, Flex deserves the absolute BEST forever home. One that will not abandon him after three years but will stand by him through thick and thin.
