Male Cat, Siamese

Siamese / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Macaroon and Chip’s Personalities Macaroon and Chocolate Chip are a dynamic duo. These brothers love each other as much as they love people. They are purr monsters - purring the minute they see you or you touch them. They are friendly, playful, and joy to be around. When they aren't playing, they love to snuggle up with their foster parents - in their laps or next to them at night. These bonded brothers must be adopted as a pair. MACAROON (orange and white) is as friendly as they come. He tends to be a bit more dominant than his brother, Chip, making sure he gets to choose which food bowl to eat out of! And Mac is more apt to chase Chip when its playtime. Mac runs to greet you and loves to be picked up and cuddled. Then he’s off in a flash asking to be let down so he can dash around the room. When he’s tired, Mac curls up with his brother or in your lap for a nap. CHOCOLATE CHIP (aka CHIP) (Siamese-mix, white/buff/grey) is sweet and friendly just like his brother Macaroon. He has unique markings with grey, buff and white fur and blue eyes - showing off his Siamese heritage. Chip is usually the first to dash out of a room to explore when a door is opened. After Chip is done playing, he’s ready for cuddles with you, easily falling asleep in your lap. What Type of Home They Need These boys need a quieter home with more than one person to make sure they get plenty of nurturing as they grow up. A home with a couple would be ideal, but a family with an older child (about 12 years or older) would be fine as long as the child has lived with cats before. They are very well socialized but haven't had a lot of experience with children. These boys need to be an integral part of their human family’s lives. Where They Came From These boys were rescued along with their siblings, Snicker and Doodle (adopted), when they were two weeks old. They came into SPCA‘s care with their mom cat, Cookie, who nurtured them until they could be weaned.PLEASE NOTE: we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. Please see our adoption guidelines at https://spcanova.org/about-us/adoption-policies/.
