Description:
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Orange tabby Sweet Sadie is just as her name implies: a very sweet and loving girl. She was very nervous, scared and sad at first, having been trapped from a colony, spayed, given her shots, then taken to her present foster home. However, when she arrived, despite her cautiousness, it was obvious that this was a gentle and friendly girl, trying so hard to be brave, and wanting to be stroked and talked to in a soothing manner. She is now completely settled in at her foster home, and loves being with her people - greeting them enthusiastically whenever she sees them. She is quite the talker, too, having a lot to say about everything and anything, chatting about her day, or anything else that might be on her mind! Sweet Sadie gets along well with the other cats in the household, and is very clean. She is gentle and kind, not a mean bone in her body. Because of her basic cautious nature, especially in new situations, she would do best in a quiet and calm household. Sadie has not been around dogs or children, so any Introductions would need to be slow and respectful. With a little patience, time and a lot of love, Sweet Sadie would make a wonderful addition to any home. Might yours be the perfect one for this special girl? Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it. We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year. Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
