Description:
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love RescueMeet Baby Girl - A Queen! Born July 2, 2017 Baby Girl is an independent lady with a personality as striking as her gorgeous green eyes. She’s sweet on her own terms and enjoys attention — but only when she’s in the mood. Like many cats with big feelings, she can become overstimulated when she's had enough. She'll let you know when it's time to stop. This lady is a bit overweight and doesn’t like to be picked up, likely due to her size and preference for keeping all four paws on solid ground. She appreciates affection at her level, where she can stay in control. Baby Girl is also quite protective of her food and prefers to dine by herself. While she stands her ground and has a bold spirit, Baby Girl does have a sweet side — especially when she feels safe and respected. She’d love a home where she can be pampered like the royalty she is, spoiled with comfy beds, treats, and space to just be herself. Volunteers believe she could flourish and become someone's number #1, if ever given the chance to. Additionally, she's very relaxed and would make a great companion to lounge around with. She hasn’t had experience with other cats or dogs, but may do best as the only pet in a calm, adult-only home. She is not a good fit for households with children. If you’re a cat lover who appreciates an independent feline with a big heart, Baby Girl might be the perfect companion for you! She's eagerly awaiting for her new family at the Kitty Corner.Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it. We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year. Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
