Description:
These sweet, orange and white brothers are a bonded pair looking for a patient and understanding forever home. A year old, they are very shy with people but love other animals. They get along with dogs and absolutely love cuddling and playing with the foster’s cat. These kitties may never be lap cats and only tolerate pets at present, but have never showed an ounce of aggression or anger towards any one. They likely have not received the handling needed to acclimate them more to people. Given that they are still young, this will hopefully improve with a dedicated adopter. While these boys may not seek out attention they are comfortable sharing the living space with their foster family and sleeping on the their bed at night. They will approach you for churu treats which is a good way to earn their trust! Alone with each other or with the other pets, Barley and Oatmeal are silly, playful and affectionate. They are gentle and well behaved kitties who have received excellent vet care and nutrition. These brothers will need a calm home with adopters willing to meet them where they are-adopters who will show them a lifetime of love and security so they will come out of their shells and show their true, adorable personalities. This will be the greatest reward. Neutered, tested, vaccinated, chipped and evaluated by a vet. Indoor only. Rehoming fee is $300 for the pair. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
