Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
Choupinet came into the shelter as a stray who appeared to not have had a lot of human interaction. He has learned to accept attention and loves it. At least in the shelter environment, he does not appear to be a cat that will seek you out but still loves to be loved on. Staff would describe my personality as: Still learning to trust but very sweet! With other cats I am: unknown at this time. With dogs I am: unknown, but based on timidness would recommend a home without dogs. With children I am: very timid and thus older children who are not loudI have the following special needs: I will need a family who is willing to give me the time to adjust to my new surroundings. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
